Thanks for the comment. The idea had come with the recent loss of a man I know who was in his 90s.

The onomatopoeia works really well and the whole piece flows fantastically. I really enjoyed it. (I’m so happy that I got the opportunity to use onomatopoeia in a sentence today! I have used it since English GCSE!”
