100 Word Challenge for Grown Ups – Week #14 – The Alphabet – “A to Z in an Entry”

11 Oct

Andrew Barnes can’t decide. Every few games he insists juniors keep laughing, most not often. Perhaps questions really seem tedious unless victory welcomes Xavier, youth zealot.

Ha ha! Looks like we had very much the same idea tonight! This is a great exercise for children to try. Well done, Mr Mannell!

      Thanks for the comment.

I thought rather than go into a storyline or history lesson I would see what came up. The link was posted in Twitter before the start time of the 100WCGU and had to wait until I returned from being out to go on the 100WCGU site.

Great stuff. It’s fun trying to make a sensible story using the 26 letters in order. Yours works very well.

      Thanks for the comment.

Writing a story this way was for fun. I wanted to see what I could come up with in a short time using only 26 words, each starting with a different letter of the alphabet in order. 🙂

      Thanks for the comment.

It was fun trying to keep it in order and in 26 words. 🙂

      Thanks for the comment.

Getting it in order and trying to make sense was a good mind task. 🙂

Well done. It’s hard to write something that makes sense when initial letter of each word is dictated to you, so hats off to you!

      Thanks for the comment.

Loved the idea of using the prompt for an alphabetically ordered post. 🙂

      Thanks for the comment.

I also thought the task of 26 words would be difficult but it seemed to fall in place quickly. Just lucky I guess. 🙂

Well it wasn’t over 100 words Ross! Great choice of words for each of the alphabet letters. Really great construction of a piece that could have been restricted by those darn letters! Great that you are taking up this weekly challenge! Thank you!

      Thanks for the comment.

Rather than write the exact word limit as normal, I decided to opt for one of my shortest entries by writing an alphabetically ordered 26 word story.
Sorry I haven’t been able to comment on as many 100WC entries lately. My commenting on school blogs has sort of taken over.
